Alexander L. Newman is a wilderness and fine art photographer living in Jefferson, Maine. He uses photography to capture and share the passion he has for the beauty and emotion he sees within all aspects of nature. In late 2016, with the support and at the behest of friends and family, he embarked on a path to pursue a career in photography. Shortly after, through social media, his photography caught the eye of art galleries in Italy, and they offered him the distinction of being an "Artista in Permanenza" at their galleries. His photographs are currently exhibited at these galleries; the Flyer Art Gallery in Rome and Merlino Bottega d'Arte in Florence. In the past year, through his association with these galleries, his work has been exhibited at international art exhibitions in Milan, London, Cannes, Innsbruck, and New York City.
"There are no words that can tell the hidden spirit of the wilderness, that can reveal its mystery, its melancholy, and its charm."
